[2.1] Overview

Operators are individual logins who are able to access the SproutCMS admin control panel.

It's usually best not to share operators between people, but rather to have a seperate operator account for each user of the admin control panel. This improves the logging of changes made within the CMS, and allows access to be properly removed when a user shouldn't have access (e.g. they leave the organisation).

Just like other modules, operators can be added to categories and importantly, these categories can have specific permissions set as to what the operator can and cannot do within SproutCMS.

You access operators by clicking on the Cog in the top utility bar, then clicking on Operators.
