[2.3] Operators - editing

To edit an operator:

1. Click onto the Cog (Settings and miscellaneous area) in the utilities bar at the top of the screen
2. Click into the Operators option
3. Locate the Operator by choosing the category they are in or by using the operator search tool
4. Modify the operator details, as per below
5. Save changes

Details

Real name
The real name of the person who uses the account. This will show in the page revision logs.

Email
Used for sending status reports.

Login

Username
The username used for logging in.

Enter new password
Enter a password for the new user.

Enter it again
You need to enter the password twice to ensure it's correc

Categories

The category or categories that this operator is a member of. This can affect the permissions of the operator.

Initially in a basic install only one category is available - Primary administrators - but you can add others and configure them to suit your organisation's needs.
