[7.4] Blog authors - adding

Authors can be assigned to a blog post and it can be configured to show a profile page for a given author if desired. It is not a mandatory option and many clients choose not to have author profiles visible. For this reason, the only mandatory field is 'Name'.

Go to the Blog authors module by clicking into the Modules tab, then within the Blog box, select 'Authors'.

Click on the Add blog author + button in the left-column.

This will bring up the options that you need to complete to create your blog author.

Name: name of author

Image: an image that represents this author

Job title: the author's job title

About: a blurb about the author

Social media

These are the social media URLs for the author. They will display with the author profile if this option has been configured as public information. Options include:

• Google+ URL
• Twitter URL
• LinkedIn URL
• Facebook URL
